The Inverclyde Juvenile Pipe Band is the only competitive juvenile pipe band in Inverclyde. Being part of the band teaches children discipline and teamwork and promotes social skills.
Formed in 1999, we are members of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association, and commenced competition in 2001 competing in competitions throughout the United Kingdom, as well as playing at local community events annually
The band wears the Inverclyde tartan designed specifically in association with ‘The Kilt Centre’.
In 2004 the band were successful winners of the Scottish, Cowal, World Championships. This culminated in being crowned Champion of Champions.
In 2005 we travelled to New York to take part in the Tartan week celebrations.
